Wow, where to begin?! Olivia and Scott’s Little Black Church Elopement in Iceland was an absolute dream! For years I have personally swooned over the rolling landscapes of Iceland, and this March along with the sweetest couple around, we marked a big check on our bucket list!

After meeting Olivia and Scott during their Engagement Session last year, we just knew something exciting was in the works! They had mentioned joking about an Elopement on day one of their Engagement, and the rest is history! From there Iceland was a definite YES and this Little Black Church was the chosen spot for their beautiful vows! This sweet church among a mountainous backdrop was built in the 1800’s and held so much history! As we drove up the road to this church surrounded by lava fields, our jaws dropped. The sun was out and the snow capped mountains made the small town of Budir feel like a painting!

After their ceremony we headed to Hotel Budir for a glass of champagne to celebrate! The view from the lounge area was spectacular and we just sat there for a while taking in all the beauty Iceland was handing us while also letting it sink in that these two were now Mr. and Mrs! After some time to warm up we headed back out for Portraits and wow, Iceland was certainly putting on a show for us that day!
